We are a small, family-run team, born and raised on Kos. Four homes, one family, and no one in between.
Our story
Katerina, and four homes
Vacation Kardamena is a collection of four homes in Kardámena — Ostria View, Cosy, Aura Beach Studio and Votsalo. Each one was chosen for the same three reasons: comfort, character, and how close it is to the sea.
We handle everything ourselves. Katerina meets you at the door, hands you the keys and tells you where to eat. She does the cleaning, answers the messages and picks up the phone. There is no agency, no call centre and no automated reply — which is why, across 64 guest reviews on Booking.com, the four homes average 9.8 out of 10 and the host score sits at a perfect 10 in two of them.
Guests arriving on late flights find the fridge stocked: water, milk, juice, something for breakfast, sometimes a bottle of wine. It is not a policy. It is just what you do when someone comes a long way to stay in your house.
Our aim is simple — a calm, genuine stay that feels like a home rather than a rental. Whether you wake to the sound of the waves at Ostria View or to the village stirring outside Cosy, you get the same welcome. That is the whole idea.

Katerina answers her own messages, in Greek, English or Italian, usually within the hour.

Three of the four are on the water. The fourth is two hundred metres from it.
